Why should we book Sip and Social?

Sip and Social is proud to be the first mobile slushy cart in the entire region. We offer something truly special and unique in mobile bartending; the option to have refreshing frozen cocktails at your wedding or private event. Made with real fruit puree and pure cane sugar (no high fructose corn syrup, yay!!), our upscale slushies are beautiful and delicious. Whether you have us serve Frosé, Piña Coladas, or frozen Whiskey Cokes, booking the Sip and Social cart is a unique experience your guests will remember forever. Plus our cart makes the most adorable backdrop for photos!

How much does it cost to hire Sip and Social?

All our events are individually priced based on number of guests, venue location, serving time needed and a few other factors. Our mini package starts at $700 (best for 50 or fewer guests) and our smallest full package starts at $950. Fill out our booking form to get your own custom quote!

What size and type of events can you serve at?

The minimum group size we can serve is 15-20 guests, but we can serve at events with up to 300 guests. Since our cocktails are made in batches, the smallest number of drinks we can serve is 50 beverages in our single barrel machine, for our slushy machine to freeze properly. Some clients have their venue bartender serve beer/wine and then hire us to serve signature frozen cocktails but we are also happy to serve beer/wine for you if needed alongside the slushies!

We serve at all sorts of private events! From weddings, bridal showers, and birthdays to graduations, prom, corporate events and fundraising events we can’t wait to serve at your event!

Where are you based and how far do you travel?

We are based in the Portland Metro area and we serve all surrounding areas, including the Willamette Valley, the Gorge, and Southern Washington. We are insured and licensed to serve throughout both Oregon and Washington. Currently we are able to travel up to 2-3 hours from the Portland Metro area, with additional travel fees.

Where can you set up? Do you need power?

Our cart is completely collapsible, meaning we can easily set up indoors or outdoors, as long as the ground is level! We do require access to standard power supply within 100 feet from where we will be set up (we can provide a long extension cord). We also need access to your venue’s kitchen to access water and a sink for setup/cleanup.

Do you only serve alcoholic beverages or can you do non-alcoholic beverages as well?

We’re all about a delicious mocktail! Any of our frozen cocktails can be made as mocktails or non-alcoholic slushies. Whether you choose alcoholic beverages or not, your slushies will still be crafted and garnished beautifully. We can also be booked for kids parties with our non-alcoholic slushies and we offer delicious kid-friendly flavors like blue raspberry and cherry!

Are bartenders included in my package?

Yes, our OLCC/MAST certified bartenders are included in every slushy package. Depending on the number of guests you have, if you will have other beverages that need to be served, and the length of your event, we will provide anywhere from 1-3 servers. If you have beer/wine that you will purchase but you would like us to serve, we can do that too, just let us know when booking!

Can I upgrade to add-on custom flowers and/or balloons?

Absolutely! Our base package comes with rental of our basic silk floral arrangement for the cart but we partner with several florists and a luxury balloon designer for custom florals/balloon arrangements. Fresh floral arrangements and balloon accents start at $100. Let us know if you’re interested in either when you fill out our contact form!

Are you insured?

We sure are! Sip and Social is fully insured with General and Liquor Liability Insurance, up to $1,000,000 for General Liability and up to $100,000 for Liquor Liability.

How far in advance do I need to book?

The earlier you reach out to us, the more of a possibility we will be available for your date. We suggest booking at least 2-5 weeks before your event but you can book events up to a year away. We are not able to take bookings less than 7 days from the event date.
